Rory Fisher

RCC

Rory is a nature loving, passionate, and driven counsellor born in the interior BC. His goal is to provide therapy for clients in a trauma-informed, non-stigmatized and nonjudgmental clinical setting. He has experience with the following modalities: Jungian Therapy (Psychoanalysis), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy, and Somatic Therapy.   Rory's practice has been formed through years of experience and education. In 2014, he graduated with a Human Service Diploma from Thompson Rivers University.  In 2016, he graduated with an Aboriginal Studies Certificate and Bachelor of Social Work from Thompson Rivers University.  In 2024, Rory attained his Master of Counselling from City University of Seattle. Through Rory's educational journey, he became a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Outside of work Rory likes to spend time in nature. He enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, foraging, and swimming. When not working and the weather is right, he enjoys spending time in nature.
