Kennedy is in the fourth year of the Bachelor of Social Work program at Thompson Rivers University and holds a Human Services Diploma.
Kennedy is in the fourth year of the Bachelor of Social Work program at Thompson Rivers University and holds a Human Services Diploma. With over five years of experience in the human services field, she has primarily worked with individuals through small non-profit organizations. She is also the co-founder and director of Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges Society, a grassroots initiative supporting neurodivergent adults, with or without formal diagnoses.
Bringing personal and professional experience to her role, Kennedy is passionate about helping others navigate complex systems and build strong self-advocacy skills. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed principles—prioritizing safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment.
She finds the greatest fulfillment in making meaningful change individually and within broader systems. Her love of learning and applying knowledge in practice drives her growth and impact.
Outside of work, Kennedy enjoys spending time with her nephew, baking, playing disc golf, and competing in card game tournaments.
