Today marks the 6th year anniversary of the declaration of a public health emergency regarding the toxic drug / overdose crisis in BC.
Since 2016, over 9000 British Columbians have died from the toxic drug supply. In recognition of the anniversary and this ongoing crisis, as well as to honor those who have died from overdose, there will be displays of black balloons around Kamloops.
