Reports to Kinesiology Team Lead
Our rehab-focused Kinesiologists act to promote client health and wellbeing following accident or disability. Kinesiologists assist in the clinical rehabilitation process by developing, restoring and improving body systems, in particular the neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems. Key responsibilities include physical assessment within scope of practice, development and review of treatment programs comprised of manual therapy, movement therapy, therapeutic exercise, and the application of technological equipment, according to training and experience. The Kinesiologist also provides Rehabilitation Assistant support for cognitive and emotional rehabilitation programming, as needed, and always under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist and / or Clinical Counsellor. Ongoing consultation with members of the client's rehabilitation team ensures integrated care is delivered to the client.
If you meet the above criteria and have the passion to work with clients who are recovering from significant injuries, send your resume and a cover letter to Inquires@Seasonsheath.ca. We will be in touch!
